PASSION

Our passion at KING TAEKWONDO is heartfelt

and dedicated teaching which encourages our students to aspire to greatness both physically

and mentally. We display our passion for

Taekwondo by embodying its core ideals of respect, integrity, and social responsibility so that we train

not only great athletes, but great citizens

PURPOSE

We believe that everything should be done with purpose and on purpose. Everyone has some

idea of what  they would like to get from Taekwondo, and whether this is becoming more physically adapt or achieving  focus, confidence, or control, it is within reach, and it is transformative. Self-development is a result of purposely posing challenges to ourselves and overcoming them; we train with purpose, and we live with purpose.

PRACTICE

Practice refers to both the physical

act of practicing Taekwondo, as well as

practicing patience, humility, and respect.

We believe that Taekwondo in its purest form

is a practice that can be extended to the entirety

of life to bring out the best in who we are,

and help us achieve the best of who we can be

Q&A

Q. There are so many martial arts in the community, Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, etc...

How is Taekwondo different from other Martial Arts?

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and is also an official Olympic Sport. It is the number 1 practiced martial art in the world! It is important to understand that the foundation of most martial arts are the same based on the principles of Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control and Indomitable Spirit.

Q. How is KING Taekwondo different from other Taekwondo schools?

First of all, we believe that all martial arts are great and that most schools are also very good. Depending on the school, some schools focus on sparring, pattern, demonstrations, but our school puts a heavy emphasis on the development of life skills while training the body and mind. As a result, we are number1 growing Martial Arts Academy in Canada. Try us out, you will love it!

Testimonials

My daughter started attending the little Ninja class a couple of months ago and she LOVES it! She looks forward to attending class every week. We havent met Master Jung yet but instructors Rian, Andrew and Eric are always so encouraging and supportive. We recommended our friend's daughter to attend and she loves it too. Really good learning environment!

My son had a free trial class last night, and he enjoyed it so much. We signed him up right away(youth intermediate), and he's starting from tomorrow. My son is not fluent in English, but he had no problem as the instructors were kind and gave him a detailed explanation.

I used to practice Taekwondo in my younger years and watching this team train my young son made me want to go back to it again. Very professional, friendly and personable service.
